Hello again friends!

So, the people have spoken! Moffly Media readers have voted McArdle's "Best Florist" and "Best Wedding Florist" in the annual Best of the Gold Coast contest. I'm not one to toot our horn, but I do want congratulate my amazing team on this achievement. I also want to offer my sincere thanks to everyone who cast a vote for us. Your support allows us to provide you with excellent service, and inspires us to continue improving. Thanks as well to Moffly Media for featuring us! The Importance of Flowers:

Now, let's turn back to our designation as Best Wedding Florist in Greenwich. Without sounding too dramatic, wedding flowers are a matter of vital importance. Flowers set the mood of the whole event, whether we're celebrating the most traditional courtship, or a free-spirited, rustic romance. Think of it this way; aside from your gown, your flowers are your best chance to express yourself on your wedding day because they are the third thing that your guests will notice. First they'll see you, then the gown, then the bouquet that you carry down the aisle. The visual effect that a lush bouquet can strike against the white backdrop of your gown cannot be overstated.

That's why it's so essential to develop a  great relationship with your florist as you plan that special day. Of course, I recommend our floral design team to you. Our design director, Michael, and his team have the professional expertise and the creative dynamism to create truly magnificent pieces for you. I'll grant you that I may seem biased because these gentlemen are my colleagues, but you don't have to take my word for it. As I mentioned, our friends, neighbors, and clients agree. We certainly didn't win "Best Wedding Florist" on luck alone. Whether we're designing table arrangements, devising a way to suspend fresh cut blooms above your heads while you recite your vows, or helping you choose the right style of bouquet in coordination with your dress, our goal is to bring your imagination to life.

So I've persuaded you, right? You're wondering how you can hire our team for your own wedding? Well, great! Let me explain. The first step is to set up a consultation with our design team. You can schedule an appointment either by calling the store at 203/661-5600 or by emailing our customer service line at [email protected] Once you set up the consultation, come with as much information as you can. Do you have a favorite flower? Let us know. If you have images of your wedding gown, bring them! Bring linen samples, images of the place settings, everything but the kitchen sink, really. The more information we have, the more helpful we can be to you. Once you've met with our team, the designers take it from there.

Of course, if you're still considering your options, we could also send you samples of past weddings we've done. I've included a few snapshots in this post, but we have much more to share. By virtue of our work, florists are there for all of life's occasions, new babies, birthdays, well wishes, and of course, weddings and anniversaries too. So invite us to your wedding. You won't get cold feet about our flowers, I promise!

Justin Lievano works in the flower shop at McArdle's, and even though he normally gets a glamour shot at the end of these posts, today we've decided to feature our Head Designer, Michael, at work on a pair of white wedding arrangements.
